Heike Saxer-Taylor is an intercultural trainer and translator. Working with a group of other intercultural consultants and professional translators, she is able to offer a broad range of intercultural and translation services. Following her degree in translation for English and French from Heidelberg University, Heike started work for a major translation company in London, focussing on the IT industry. She later moved across into the IT industry itself, where she changed from the translation sector into mainstream marketing and sales. Working in the UK, the US, Germany and Switzerland, Heike gathered a wealth of experience with these particular cultures. In order to give some theoretical background to her very practical observations, she did the Diploma in Intercultural Management at Cambridge University.
Working for some of the major training providers in the UK as well as under her own steam, Heike has designed and delivered intercultural training across a wide range of industries, from logistics to IT, and to groups and individuals at all levels of the client’s organisation. Heike is a member of Sietar, the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research, as well a member of the Institute of Translators and Interpreters in the UK.
